Auction for stalls at the Lunar New Year fair to begin on October 24

Auctions for stalls at the 2013 Lunar New Year fairs in Victoria Park and in Kowloon will be held from October 24 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department says.

The Victoria Park fair will house 180 wet goods stalls, 284 dry goods stalls, eight thematic stalls, and three fast-food stalls. The bidding upset prices range from $8,750 to $301,920, and the auctions will be held on October 24 and 25.

The four fairs in Kowloon are at Fa Hui Park, Cheung Sha Wan Playground, Morse Park, and Hong Ning Road Recreation Ground. There will be 322 wet goods stalls, 240 dry goods stalls, and eight fast-food stalls. Their upset prices range from $680 to $54,320, and the auctions will be held from October 29 to November 1.
