Ping An Digital Bank assets surge 130% to $1.99b in H1 2026
The bank’s fee and commission income grew sevenfold whilst deposits more than doubled.
Ping An Digital Bank (PingAnDB) saw its total assets and customer deposits surge over 130% year-on-year (YoY) as of 30 June 2026.
The Hong Kong-based digital bank’s total assets now exceed $1.99b (HK$15.6b), whilst total customer deposits reached $1.77b (HK$13.7b), according to an announcement on 29 September 2026.
PingAnDB partly attributed the rise to the launch of its wealth services in March 2026, which it said opened new channels to boost fee and commission income.
The bank’s fee and commission income grew sevenfold to $828,500 (HK$6.5m) year-on-year as of 30 June.
Net interest income rose 55% YoY to $17.85m (HK$140m) over the same period.
PingAnDB is celebrating its 6th anniversary in 2026.
