Hong Kong Fintech Week 2024 kicks off on 28 October

InvestHK expects to draw about 30,000 attendees from 100 economies across the globe.

The ninth edition of the Hong Kong FinTech Week (HKFW) will take place from 28 October to 1 November 2024 with the theme, “Illuminating New Pathways in Fintech.”

Organizer Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) expects to draw 30,000 attendees from over 100 economies in the event.

HKFW is organized by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and InvestHK, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and the Insurance Authority (IA).

The main conference— taking place between 28 and 29 October— will feature hundreds of speakers, sponsors, and exhibits. 

This year particularly features an “unprecedented” number of mainland Chinese big tech companies, as well as speakers and delegates from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Middle East, InvestHK said in a statement posted on the Hong Kong government’s official website.

Asian Banking & Finance, Insurance Asia, and Hong Kong Business are official media partners in HKFW 2024.
