Wheelock acquires Hop Lung Industrial Building for HK$728m

The developer plans to redevelop the building into a "high-quality industrial project."

Wheelock Properties has acquired the Hop Lung Industrial Building at 52 Wong Chuk Hang Road, South, Hong Kong Island, for HK$728m.

The industrial building has a site area of 7,830 square feet and a buildable floor area of 117,500 square feet. 

The developer plans to redevelop the building into a “high-quality industrial and trade project.”

 The asset marks Wheelock's first acquisition of an industrial site on urban Hong Kong Island via a compulsory auction this year.
