AirAsia launches new HK-Bali, Jakarta routes

The first flights will operate on 1 and 8 October.

AirAsia is launching direct flights from Bali and Jakarta to Hong Kong.

The first flight from Hong Kong to Bali will commence on 1 October, whilst Hong Kong to Jakarta on 8 October. Both routes will have a daily frequency of one flight per day.

The expansion comes as the Hong Kong Tourism Board reported an increase of Indonesians visiting the city in 2023.Over 252,432 Indonesian travellers visited Hong Kong in 2023, compared to 2022, when it recorded just 7,480 travellers.

The Statistics Bureau of Indonesia, meanwhile, recorded 13,673 travellers from Hong Kong in the first half of 2024.
